About this center

SustainAbility Recycling runs the Arvada H2R center, a drop-off for hard-to-recycle materials, electronics, reuse items, and compost. The Arvada site accepts the company's full list of 30-plus hard-to-recycle materials, anything with a cord or a battery, and food scraps, non-recyclable paper products, and small plants and flowers for composting. Compost goes in only at Arvada and not at the Broomfield site. The center opens to the public Monday through Saturday. It also handles commercial e-waste pickups and compost pickups, and its team includes people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A second hard-to-recycle center in Westminster takes a shorter list.

Awesome recycling place. I was nervous as I've never been to a recycling center before and I knew I had items I couldn't take. They came out to my car as soon as I pulled up and helped me sort out cans and paper and such and then took all my cardboard for $4. I appreciated how quick and easy it was and that they weren't put out by my nervousness and not having it all sorted. Will definitely be coming back with more cardboard :) They don't take cans paper paper bags stuff like that unfortunately. All I recycled was cardboard :)

It was super easy and the employees were extremely helpful. Happy to pay to know the recycling gets done and not just rotting in a field.

Very nice and helpful staff with reasonable prices. I dropped off a 55" flatscreen TV and was in and out in less than 3 minutes. Highly recommend.
