Recycling Center located at 109 S. Cedar Street offers self-service for accepting clean recyclables 24/7. Visitors can sort their items on-site or in advance. The Welcome Guide on pages 2-3 provides details on accepted recyclables and items that should be placed in garbage containers. Additionally, there is a Rubble Site located 1/2 mile west of Freeman on North County Road, where visitors can dispose of specific materials for tipping fees ranging from $5 for a car load to $45 for a trailer or truck with 16-30 cubic yards. The compost and branch tree site is always open and available at no charge, with varying hours from April to September and October to March. A fee of $20 is charged for disposing of a CRT TV at the Rubble Site.
