They always try to improve the flow of traffic and the safety of the people who drive onto the dumping floor to remove the loads from their vehicles. This place is busy most days with a short waiting que to unload. they have a fairly large piece of property and the system they have moves traffic along as efficient as us possible. The Owner Brian is actually a good guy down to earth and has poured his blood sweat and tears into this place. They hire felons right out of jail/prison sorting the material at first and give them actually decent employment opportunities with potential to be promoted and secure a life long career if they work hard and are responsible. They take care of their employees during the holidays with a homemade meal and bonuses and it's an actual meritocracy like it should be no favorites or DEI unfairness. As a former employee and a customer at one time I have nothing bad to say about United Recycling and am grateful for how Brian and his wife run and operate the business. 5 stars recommended highly.

Kelly Martin (1/5 stars, 7 years ago): I just witnessed a vehicle belonging to this company illegally dumping a large pile of garbage (see first photo) at the end of the road that I adopted thru Seattle's adopt-a-street program. I am appalled that a local business would do such a thing. They dumped the garbage and construction debris at the end of a small encampment that has kept their trash contained and properly disposed of (see second photo) upon hearing that the street had been adopted by volunteers. When questioned as to why they were dumping on the side of the road the workers in the vehicle with a large scoop/bucket on the front replied that their boss told them to do it. You'd think people would question when their superior asks them to do things that are illegal.
