Deschutes County Solid Waste - Southwest Transfer Station & Recycling Center - Recycling Center in La Pine, OR

I took a couple pickup loads of yard waste ( {Pine needles leaves tall grass clippings etc.) to the Southwest Transfer Station & Recycling Center on a Saturday morning about 8:30 am and then 12:30pm No lines or crowds in the yard. The attendant was friendly and helpful I had not used this site for Yard Recycling before so I needed to make sure I dumped it in the right pile. The attendant was very professional and helpful in explaining the yard recycle location. No problems. And Pricing was reasonable. Overall I was very happy with the process and will use this place again.

This is a great little site to dump household yard waste. It's way closer for Sunriver and three rivers residents and the rates are fare. The staff is also very friendly and helpful when needed.

Wish they took old antifreeze and other hazmat chemicals. And it would be nice if they were open on more days of the week. Other than that great guys very helpful and easy to get in and out.
