City of Saint Cloud Transfer Station

I dropped off 250 pounds and paid only $8 that's about the weight as a couch or a queen size bed and the mattress and I believe that's worth it. The ease of just dropping everything in the dumpsters on site is great.

Angela Richter (1/5 stars, 10 months ago): This is by far the worst transfer station I’ve ever been to in my life. And I’ve been to multiple ones in several different states that I’ve lived. I only ever take small household trash in bags or cardboard boxes. When I first started coming here they would just let me drop off the household trash and then go out without being weighed. Now they make me weigh in every time and there’s at least 20 other cars big moving trucks and work trucks in line to get weighed on their way out. So now I’m in line for 45 minutes just to get out of the transfer station when I have on average a few little cardboard boxes and four 13 gallon kitchen trash bags. Also the last time I came they totally screwed up when they weighed me and they charged me for 1 000 pounds of trash. I would not even be able to fit 1 000 pounds worth of trash in my small vehicle. The girl at the window was super rude and snarky and said there was nothing she could do unless I stuck all the trash back in my car re-weighed myself and dumped it all again… yeah ok. 😒 If anyone with half a brain looked at my car they would realize there’s no way I could fit 1 000 pounds of trash in there (much less be able to lift it out myself) so it was obviously a screwup on their end when they weighed me. They just should’ve let me pay the normal $2-$5 I do usually. If this weren’t the only place in town I could dispose of my trash I would definitely go somewhere else. This place is horrible. If I could give it zero stars I would.
