City of Maumelle Drop Off Recycling Collection Center & Transfer Station

Cody Conway (5/5 stars, 4 weeks ago): what a nice experience. the workers were very friendly and welcomed me to the space. they let me know where all the types of recycling bins were located and checked in periodically. this place is clean and well organized. a joyful recycling experience. thanks guys!

Katie Sanders (1/5 stars, 3 years ago): This transfer station used to be a great place to work with but unfortunately they were a complete hassle this time and I feel that I was overcharged. Be aware- the fees listed on the website fail to state that whoever is at the guard-shack can charge additional “at their discretion”- their words not mine. I went to dump an old sectional couch and added a few misc items on top since the trailer was going anyways and was charged $50 when trailers clearly show $20 on the fee chart. When questioned about why it’s so high this time they hit me with the excuse “people who used to work here didn’t charge correctly now we’re charging correctly and lots of people have been getting frustrated lately.” When following up on this matter today the guy (T.C.) told me he charged that price because “that trailer was packed 6 foot high!“ Just for fun- I have included a pic of the trailer. Alternative Waste Management in Mayflower would have cost less and probably provided a much better experience.

It takes a little bit of effort to get it to your center but we have a dedicated bin for all the bottles and jars we collect. Every few weeks we load it into our pickup and bring it to your facility. We are dedicated to recycling everything that we can to keep our beautiful state beautiful. Thank you for providing this service.
