City of Gulf Shores Recycling Center - Recycling Center in Gulf Shores, AL

The City of Gulf Shores drop-off recycling center is at 160 W. 36th Avenue, Gulf Shores, AL. All items must be sorted into the proper bins.

The drop-off center accepts styrofoam, cardboard, plastic, plastic bags, paper, aluminum cans, household batteries, glass jars and bottles, scrap metal, and tin cans. Paint, electronics, and lightbulbs are accepted only on periodic Special Recycling Days.

The center does not accept medical waste, aerosol cans, paint (outside of special events), or tires. Automotive batteries and motor oil can be taken to the Walmart Auto Care Center at 170 E Fort Morgan Road. Gasoline, household chemicals, pool chemicals, tires, and insecticides go to the Baldwin County Magnolia Landfill.
