Aweful place to go. Don't bother. Nobody is friendly. Harassed because I put leaves in plastic bags to keep my car clean. I'd love a truck with a tarp but can't afford it so I have to put leaves in my car. My plan all along was to keep the bags after I dumped the leaves. I told him this and that I'd even come back to him with the bags in hand to prove I didn't leave them on site As I was leaving I was chased down by the man who angrily yelled at me with phone recording in hand and told me that me in that car are banned from the site. My tax dollars pay for that sight thank you. I just moved here and I think I made a huge mistake moving to GR/Walker. Nobody is nice about anything over here and they make everything so much harder than it should be.

I always appreciate being able to dump our yard waste. Bonus: I went during the solar eclipse and they were wearing welding helmets to look at the eclipse.. so overall good vibes from the folks who work back there.

I am a citizen of Kent county and every time I go there they claim that I am a commercial business and they try to charge me money to get rid of my yard waist because I have tools in the bed of my truck. I wonder if I can sue them for charging me when I am a citizen of Kent county. The place is awesome and I don't know if they got me mixed up with someone else but I for sure shouldn't be getting charged or turned away. Grand Rapids yard waste we need to talk because I would like to file a foia request along with a complaint. Because you profile me and deny me services that my tax money pays for.
