Calhoun County Recycling - Marshall Recycling Center
About This Center
**Marshall Recycling Center** located at 13300 15 Mile Road in Marshall, MI, operates on Tuesdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The center accepts #1, #2, and #5 PP plastic only, excluding #3, #4, #6, and #7 plastics. Glass bottles and jars of all colors are accepted, including glass candle jars and picture frame glass up to 16x20 in size. Items like Pyrex, microwave turntable plates, and glass casserole dishes are not accepted. Recyclers must stay in their vehicles, and the volume is limited to what fits in a 96-gallon curbside cart. Sorting is required, and materials should be placed in a non-returnable container. Containers exceeding one employee's lifting capacity will be left in the vehicle. The center emphasizes a limit on material volume per trip to reduce wait times and requests residents to use containers they do not want back. **Clarence Township** offers Single Stream Recycling on the third weekend of each month at 27052 R Dr. N., Albion, MI. No sorting is needed for paper, plastics, etc., but plastic bags should not be placed in the bins. All items must be empty, clean, and dry, and cardboard boxes should be flattened. Glass is not accepted at this location. **C & C Landfill** at 14800 P Drive N. in Marshall, MI, operates Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon. Residents can bring paper, cardboard, plastic (#1-#2 and #3-#7), metal, and glass to the recycling center. A program card is required, and participants must verify residency at the scale house each visit. A $5 fee is applicable without a program card. Residents can bring a load equivalent to a 96-gallon cart per visit, with all materials needing to be empty, clean, and dry.

Janet Adams (5/5 stars, a year ago): Great service! The workers are there in rain & shine with pleasant attitudes. It is an easy drop off that makes you want to return. Very highly recommended.

Rebecca Murphy (3/5 stars, a year ago): They are too quick to scold you publicly. I have the flyer and I sort my recycle into paper bags. It is clean and just once I wish they would appreciate my effort. Where else can i go that is near. I am 75 years old.

Brian Turner (3/5 stars, 6 years ago): When the facility is open it provides pretty good service. The hours have changed at least twice since it opened and is now open only one weekend a month. Not very helpful for working families. The staff does a lot of separating so if you can separate in advance it helps a lot. Newspapers vs office paper vs magazines for example. They take NO colored glass claiming they don't have a vendor to take it.
