Sites that take concrete, asphalt, drywall, shingles, and other construction and demolition debris. Hours, fees, and accepted items change, so call or check the listing before you load up.
Concrete and asphalt recyclers often take clean loads for a low fee or free, since they crush it into base material. Mixed debris costs more and usually goes to a transfer station or C&D landfill.
Do I need to separate construction debris?
Separated loads of clean concrete, metal, or wood are cheaper to drop off than mixed loads. Ask the site how it prices each material.
Is drywall recyclable?
Clean scrap drywall can be recycled at some facilities, but painted or demolition drywall usually cannot. Call ahead.
