About This Center
24/7 Residential Drop-off Recycling Guide: Residents can utilize various drop-off locations for recycling, with specific service days assigned to each site. It is important to note that cardboard is not accepted at certain locations like Perrysburg Township and Lake Township. Glass items deposited in the bins are recycled at Rumpke's Glass Recycling Plant in Dayton, OH. To maximize capacity, it is advised to flatten cardboard, avoid plastic bags, refrain from disposing of garbage, and prevent illegal dumping. The Bowling Green Recycling Center is a non-profit, full-time urban drop-off site that operates 24 hours a day, catering to individuals, multi-family housing units, commercial businesses, and rural residents. Visitors must sort their materials before use at this facility. Additionally, glass bottles and jars can be recycled at the Bowling Green Recycling Center or O-I World Headquarters glass drop-off facility at Levis Commons in Perrysburg. Please wait to recycle materials until bins are emptied, as sites may be temporarily closed when full. Service days are subject to change based on holidays or emergencies.
