Tree Branch Recycling Facility
About This Center
The Tree Branch Recycling Facility in Broomfield is a program exclusively available to Broomfield residents, requiring proof of residency at the gate. The facility accepts only tree branches and shrub branches, prohibiting items such as trash, sod, grass clippings, leaves, lumber, and fence materials. Leaves are accepted only in the fall from mid-October to year-end. Metal items like wire, nails, and other materials are not allowed to prevent damage to equipment. Branches over 18 inches in diameter must be cut into 4-foot lengths. Free mulch is offered year-round at the Broomfield Recycling Center, with visitors encouraged to bring shovels and take as much as needed. The facility is located at 2990 W 124th Avenue and operates on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with potential closures in extremely muddy or wet conditions. Visitors are advised to call ahead for confirmation.
