Tomra New York Recycling LLC

Tomra is running a scam with small redemption centers. Tomra picks up crushed cans from their own businesses but refuse to pay for crushed cans from other businesses. They will still take them and redeem them through their own business and steal from the little guys while still profiting off them. The little guys are now unable to accept these cans and it causes a hassle for anyone trying to redeem the exact same product. As soon as I find ANY redemption center NOT connected to Tomra I'll be going there from now on.😒

I picked up a load of scrap aluminum and the load didn’t pay enough to deal with the trouble and dysfunction of this plant. The personnel were either woefully under-trained or on drugs. I actually hope they were on drugs because if not it’s a hopeless situation for them. At least if these guys are on drugs…they could stop taking drugs. The shipping clerk was kind of scatterbrained and somewhat unprofessional. It wasn’t that he was stupid. He acted like he maybe just drank a couple pots of coffee and had reached a high he hadn’t hit before. That’s it. Just lots and lots and lots of coffee. The yard is a shambles. There’s barely room to maneuver into a dock door because it’s extremely disorganized. There’s years of broken glass ground into the gravel. It’s an extremely unpleasant place to pick up a load. And the loads pay terrible.

It's a good Job but there's a lot of work that have to be done and I honestly think as a whole people need to communicate more because it's always something new going on and you don't find out about it until later
