About This Center
The Home Chemical & Recycling Center at Palm Beach County's transfer stations offers free drop-off for residents to dispose of household hazardous waste such as fluorescent light bulbs, rechargeable batteries, paint, pesticides, and propane tanks. Small businesses are required to pay for disposal. Annually, approximately 4.25 million pounds of home chemicals are either recycled or safely disposed of through this facility. David Y (5/5 stars, 2 months ago): This is place is great for a homeowner. Never an issue going there. The take flattened cardboard boxes used motor oil batteries household chemicals and paints and used lightbulbs. Also during the week they take old gasoline.
