About this center

Caja del Rio Landfill takes in 150,000 tons of waste a year and accepts waste from Santa Fe County only. The Santa Fe Solid Waste Management Agency runs it under a permit issued in November 2015. Cash customers haul in self-dumping trailers Monday through Saturday, and commercial customers need a pre-approved account. The landfill accepts industrial solid waste, petroleum contaminated soil, sludge, spills of chemical substances or commercial products, treated formerly characterized hazardous waste, and vehicle wash sump waste. It refuses out-of-county waste, bulk liquids, hazardous and radioactive waste, lead-acid batteries, ash, infectious waste, and regulated asbestos. Green waste, scrap metal, appliances, and e-waste are not accepted here.

Don't your trash pickup folk have to have a license to operate your vehicles? Why do they drive as if they're drunk and under the influence of something. They can not even properly empty our trash can into they're truck and set it down without dragging it or breaking stuff. Why is if so hard for them? They act careless and as if they hate they're jobs. You need better pay so you can get better people working.
