About This Center

Western Recycling, now owned by Republic Services, has been serving customers in Idaho since 1976, with locations in Boise, Nampa, Fruitland, and Pocatello. They continue to operate in Idaho Falls and Twin Falls. The facility has diverted over 5 billion pounds of material from landfills since 1979, processing over 100,000 tons of cardboard, paper, plastics, aluminum cans, ferrous scrap metal, and nonferrous scrap metal annually. Services include curbside recycling for Idaho Falls, Ammon, and Rigby residents, as well as commercial office recycling programs. Clinton Hamilton (1/5 stars, 4 weeks ago): Put my trash on the road like I do every friday . There is a little trashcan. I put out on the road to because They've been empty for years. But today he did not dump it. I don't understand when we pay for it that he cannot Empty it. Not very pleased. I did not even wanna put a star. But it won't let me without putting a star so really negative. Come on trash people we do our part you do yours.

Gamma (1/5 stars, a month ago): They now close early (at 4.) Also recently changed policy and will now only take aluminum if you have 20+ lbs. Will only pay by check. Give me a break. Kind of feels like they only want you to use their recycling bins. 😂 go to United metals. No minimum and they pay cash.

Andrew Baker (1/5 stars, 5 months ago): My recycle bin didn’t get picked up on November 14 2024 when the neighbors bin was emptied and mine was about 5 feet away from theirs.. I called customer service the employee scheduled pick up for today November 15 2024. My bin has been out since 8:45am November 14. As of now 6:09pm November 15 the recycle bin is STILL SITTING THERE AT THE CURB FULL! if it is not picked up tomorrow November 16. I will be contacting higher ups!
