About This Center

The City of West Fargo's Sanitation Division, led by Sanitation Manager Logan Jacobson, offers residential and commercial solid waste services. Residential garbage curbside pickup costs $23.55 per month for a 64-gallon cart or $27 per month for a 96-gallon cart, with a $30 charge for cart size changes. To ensure timely collection, receptacles should be out by 7 a.m. on the designated day, with recyclable materials placed loose in the bin. The city no longer collects building materials curbside, directing property owners to the Transfer Station at 1620 Main Ave. W. or to request a dumpster. Recycling drop-off locations include the Eagle Run Water Tower and the Department of Sanitation. Compost and yard waste drop-off locations are available but closed during winter months. The Transfer Station operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Household Hazardous Waste can be disposed of at 606 43 1/2 St. N, Fargo, with specific operating hours. COVID-19 test disposal guidelines are provided, emphasizing double bagging and disposal in the garbage. Additionally, the New Life Center Donation Bin Locations are available at the Department of Sanitation and the Eagle Run Water Tower.
