Recycling Drop-Off Location - Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO)
About This Center
SWACO operates a Drop-Off Recycling program in Franklin County, diverting about 6,000 tons of recyclable material annually from the landfill. The program aims to keep pace with evolving recycling needs and behaviors in central Ohio. Accepted materials include glass bottles and jars, paper, and certain metals, while items like plastic disposable containers, glass ceramics, paper plates, and drink pouches are not accepted. It is important to break down cardboard boxes, keep recyclables loose (not in plastic bags), and report illegal dumping. Visitors can use the Recycling Reuse Search Tool to find locations for materials not accepted in the program.

Chris Hauser (2/5 stars, 2 years ago): There needs to be more of these around Columbus. I don't want to drive half an hour away. I love this idea. Like this is not a bad post. I want to recycle and have other Americans beable to recycle without a day trip or saving all the plastic for a month just for a drop off. I don't want to do that that's too messy. Please make more accessible places across Columbus Ohio please.
