Ponce Recycling - no e-waste

Rock Roll (1/5 stars, a month ago): Google sent me to a different place 1.5 miles from Ponce. It was document shredding only. So i took a moment to edit update that Google search result. Terrible if your vehicle is full of bags of sticky soda cans & you get bunk info on where you can drop them off. Suddenly Google shows a new search result. PONCE! I Drive 1.5 miles. Pull in 3 guys working all the usual sorting trash cans (about 20) in parking lot roll up door is up. I have 4 lbs or approximately 1/3 of a 60 gallon Hefty bag like what you put your grass trimmings into from mowing the lawn. I jump out bag im hand. "sorry muchacho were going to close" i say i know i have just this bag to give your recycling center no trash barrels or other stuff. Just what I'm holding in this bag here." No you see we close at 5pm. You barely got here 30 seconds b4 that". I say so what I'm here now everything is still setup i have a truck that hauls food from pallets im gojna work all night & i can't keep this in the way falling on STERILE FOOD SHELVES'' No sorry were closing " I said ok I'll lose the money just take this bag of aluminum cans so it's out of my truck. You can keep the 4 dollars rebate". Same monotone blow off answer "it doesn't matter how much you have or if you don't care about the money it's too late (now 5:03pm) even free we don't need it.".. I waa SO EXASPERATED at his piss poor attitude zero customer relation building. I could have got mad or just dropped the bag where I stood. (I was at edge of: metal trailer where you weigh it just like when they throw it on top of the big pile then say to sign paper receipt on clipboard & hand you the cash.) I said really? All this still stuff out & you can't even take it for free? Obviously they're minimally discussing it in English with me & i don't want it to get or seem to be personal/racial in current climate even though he was acting dismissive robotic w/me by repeating same 6 words being totally flippant caused by ? & nothing else? So i walked away. All 9 feet back to my truck... They definitely weren't doing any job effort that nobody else will do. I felt like i was at the DMV Anotherwords in hell. *i had worked 23 hours so writing this I'm literally taking forever to finish as i keep dozing off. So now it's 542pm & the guys still sitting there at scale. Just like when it's open. Grrrr
