Hurricane Binnie

BluCan Curbside Recycling and the Binnie Recycling program are the two main recycling options in Washington County, Utah. BluCan provides curbside pickup for everyday household recyclables, while the Binnie program offers more than 20 drop-off locations for glass, paper, plastic, and metal. Recyclables should be placed loose in the bins rather than in bags, which drives up processing costs. For plastics, the county recommends the "poke test" and accepts empty, clean, dry bottles, jugs, and containers. Glass is accepted at most, though not all, Binnie sites.
