Community Recycle Center
About This Center
The Community Recycle Center (CRC) in Moab, Utah, managed by the Solid Waste Special Service District 1, offers free drop-off recycling services for residents and commercial entities for a fee. Acceptable materials include universal and electronic waste, household hazardous waste, and other recyclables. The CRC operates from Tuesday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm, closed on Sundays and Mondays. The center aims to divert materials from the waste stream by processing recyclables for shipping to domestic markets and processing plants. Established in 1991 by Canyonlands Community Recycling, the CRC is now managed by the Canyonlands Solid Waste Authority, focusing on education and recycling in the community. For more information or to set up Single-Stream Recycling Curbside Collection in Grand County, visitors can contact the Canyonlands Transfer Station Office.

Chandler S (4/5 stars, 5 years ago): Sometimes difficult to recycle things here. They seem to change what is/is not acceptable. It is nice to have a recycling area in town though.
