Jason Crabtree (1/5 stars, 2 months ago): I literally got paid the lowest that I have ever got paid on clean aluminum rims. Then the guys switched my clean copper with the insulated copper. I'm aware that the price fluctuates on scrap but everywhere else I have called has been 60 to 70 cents per pound for clean auto Wheels. When I told the lady inside that they switched the copper around she said absolutely nothing. So I guess that must just be normal they kind of just pay you what they want for the wrong material bare bright copper that I got paid insulated wire price for. Sucks because I did business with this company before and they did me right this time they got me pretty good. I'm out of work because of a spinal disease so money is pretty tight right now. They are also paying .13 cents per pound for battery LOL $0.42 a pound for clean Auto wheels. If you have any type of aluminum or copper I would suggest First Street recycling or anywhere but this place

scooba padi (2/5 stars, 9 months ago): New at this; but not sure it's worth the experience. I took in mixed scrap; a couple electric motors old jumper cables an aluminum work stand aluminum scythe handle and a bunch of old chain saw blades. When I arrived there were four cars ahead of me. I parked and went to look thru the side door to see how they unload sort and process. I was told to get back in my vehicle. 45 minutes later it was my turn. Two people working there; I asked where to put the items; he said put it all on the platform. I did; they weighed it and gave me a slip of paper to take to the next building. There they gave a slip of receipt for 94 pounds of sheet iron-unclean. And paid me $6.82. Prices didn't seem to correlate with website. Directions unclear.
