About this center
Valdosta moved its city recycling center from Five Points to Val Tech Road in August 2025, and a Public Works employee now staffs the site. Tuesday through Friday hours run 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday hours run 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Access is limited to residents living inside city limits. Visitors show a City of Valdosta utility bill and a valid driver's license or photo ID to verify residency. City officials say staffing the site lets them monitor it more closely, reduce contamination, and capture more recyclable material.
