About this center

The Cherry Creek Recycling and Compost Drop-off is a free drop-off site run by the City and County of Denver at 7400 Cherry Creek S Dr, near the intersection of S. Quebec St. and E. Cherry Creek South Drive. Denver residents can bring household recycling, compost, yard debris, and branches here to keep them out of the landfill. Use is limited to Denver residents with proof of residency, two visits per day, and common residential vehicles only. The site accepts all materials taken in Denver Solid Waste's recycling and compost service but does not take paint, hazardous material, dirt, sod, or commercial and landscaping materials.

I tried taking this pic multiple times a the light was off. Happy to say Finally they have some hours that are easy to follow. Make sure to bring your ID. Denver residents only. They also don’t allow plastic bags. I take them to the grocery stores. I don’t know how picky they are about yard debris only 4ft long an 4 in round. I never clean up my yard with a tape measure. If they tell me no I’ll just wait for large item pickup day I guess. Hope this helps. It has been confusing in the past.

Exceptional service provided to Denver residents. Never much of a wait. The folks that work here are very friendly helpful and efficient. Great place to drop off extra cardboard!

My favorite thing is coming here during hours when Google says they are open with a car full of recycling and then they're not open. Truly great. Wonderful. I'm so happy I get to carry this around with me all week until I can rearrange my schedule again to try to make it down here for the same thing to happen. Westminster needed to better manage the drop off locations. I realize people dumping stuff was the actual problem so they are to blame but this solution is hardly a solution at all.
