Yes. CHaRM Atlanta is open by appointment only. Drop-off times are Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors should show the appointment QR code on arrival. Appointments are required to help track statistics for funding. Live Thrive also operates CHaRM DeKalb at 1225 Columbia Dr, Decatur, GA 30032, by appointment on Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What payment methods does CHaRM accept?

What materials does CHaRM Atlanta accept?
CHaRM Atlanta accepts household hazardous waste and other hard-to-recycle items, including chemicals, paint, electronics, appliances, mattresses, metals, plastics #1, #2, #4, #5, and #6, glass, cardboard, mixed paper, cartons, cooking oil, residential compost, usable clothing and household goods, Styrofoam, and car or bicycle tires without rims. Items must be sorted and separated, and recyclables should be clean and dry. Only the list on livethrive.org is treated as accurate. Rehabilitation equipment is accepted at CHaRM DeKalb only. Live document shredding is available only during shredding events at CHaRM DeKalb, not at the Atlanta site; pre-shredded paper is accepted at any time.
Does CHaRM Atlanta charge drop-off fees?
Some items have fees. For residents, appliances are $15-$20 each, TVs and monitors are $25 each, mattresses and box springs are $15 for twin/full or $18 for queen/king, and car or bicycle tires are $3 each. Chemicals and paint are weighed together: the first 20 pounds are free for residents, then $0.70 per pound up to 100 lbs total, $0.75 per pound from 101-199 lbs, and $0.80 per pound at 200 lbs and above. Many other materials list no resident fee. Business rates differ on some items, including $1 per pound for chemicals and paint.
