About this center
Larry Dewayne Chancey started Chancey's Wrecker Service in 1990 with a single truck, and it grew into one of the oldest and largest towing companies in the CSRA and one of the largest AAA towing contractors in Georgia. His wife Marlene and son Dexter run it from the Mike Padgett Highway office in Augusta.
Dispatch answers around the clock for passenger cars up to big rigs. The work covers light, medium, and heavy-duty towing and recovery, local and interstate hauls, flatbed towing, secure storage, lockouts, winch outs, pull starts, jump starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery. A sister yard on Old Savannah Road, Chancey's Truck and Auto Salvage, sells used and salvaged parts for Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet, Nissan, Honda, Kia, and other makes.
