Cactus Recycling

Philip Murray (5/5 stars, 2 years ago): I have been here several times before bringing crushed aluminum cans. I generally call at least a half a dozen places to compare prices. "Cactus" is always at the top or even with the top price for aluminum.(Note: crushed aluminum is $0.10 a pound more here but often times you won't get this price on the phone until they see that you indeed have crushed your cans) The people who work here are always very nice sometimes not perfect with their English but sign language works. Parking can sometimes be a hassle. They have a scale and do scrap metal in front of the business and I don't know what goes on once you go through the gates to the rear probably a junkyard. If you keep an eye on your vehicle you can park briefly at the adjacent businesses.

Luis Amaro (5/5 stars, 3 years ago): I live in east Mesa and pass up many yards because these guys are honest on their prices and weights owner is straight forward and to the point. Yes parking can improve but they have very efficient workers. I usually bring my stuff sort it out and I am out within 30 minutes . I recommend this place.

Gwen Longstreet (Onestreet3) (1/5 stars, a year ago): I have been going here for a few years now and I am not happy with their services . The same copper they say is #2 . The place I go now saying it's #1 . For a while Cactus recycling said number 2 then one-day it's #1 . Again back to #2 wire . This place has been ripping me off and others . The scale reads a pound at 3/4 . If you have 1.65 pounds of copper it will read 1 pound . BEWARE of their scale . I have a digital scale that I weigh my copper brass and aluminum with and I go there and get cheated out of a pound . There are way better places to go and get higher prices for the right number of metals you have . I would not recommended this place . PS you need to change your attitude from negative to positive because every time a white person comes in they have a negative attitude toward them and tries to rip them off by giving them less than what is truly . Not a good business to go to . Wasted my time and not paid fairly .
