About This Center
Self-serve machines are temporarily unavailable at BottleDrop Redemption Centers in Eugene, with all individual container counts being done by Stream Count at the Bulk Count station. The drop door will be open for easy access. In Bend, limited parking is available due to construction. BottleDrop offers various redemption options, including self-serve returns for up to 350 empty containers per person per day, hand-counted returns at select locations for up to 50 containers per day, and the Green Bag Program where customers can drop full bags of containers for redemption at participating locations. Customers can receive their refund value as cash or store credit at participating retailers through BottleDrop Plus, which offers 20% more refund value. Additionally, customers can link their BottleDrop account to an Oregon College Savings Plan account to save for education. The system is highly effective, redeeming and recycling over two billion containers annually, helping keep public spaces litter-free in Oregon.

Daniel Pearson (1/5 stars, 7 months ago): This isn't a functional bottle drop the doors scanning your QR code work sometimes but only after multiple attempts and on every visit the area is too full to accept any bags. The few times this location has worked my cans have been undercounted by at least 10% often more. The hours are 8a-6p which effectively means not accessible by working people. It's busy on weekends understandably. The bright spot is the Fred Meyer staff support they go above and beyond the inside customer service is quick and helpful assisting in printing bag tags and selling bags. The fact that you get 20% more when you use your funds in-store makes up for the shorted bottle counts at least for me. Why does an autonomous unattended drop need to have such restrictive hours? Why can't they spell containers or accept?

Lyns Copeland (5/5 stars, a month ago): Love how quick and convenient the bag location are. This one especially. I put bottles in bag at home and then stick the whole bag in the metal mouth. Done and done. I have seen the metal mouth still accessible around 8:00. The schedule is 6 but the mouth has a sensor that locks it down when it gets full.

Matt Klukluk (1/5 stars, 8 months ago): Always full never managed by Fred Meyer and never taken care of unless it's pick up day which then it's rare. Bottle drop location more so inconvenience can drop rather have any other place in Eugene be a bottle drop. Constant complaints to kroger the parent company to get this place fixed and taken care of is always said they'll take care of it but never do management is horrible here with managing this. Will also take my shopping elsewhere since kroger doesn't want to take it seriously. Images are from drop off area regarding the bottle drop area.
