Tri State Oil Reclaimers has operated out of Cheyenne since 1983, collecting used oil, oil filters, and antifreeze from fleets and shops, and selling recycled fuel oil. It serves construction firms, equipment and farm dealerships, car rental companies, compressor stations, feedlots, airports, school bus garages, tire shops, and city, county, and government fleets across 14 western and central states. The company picks up used oil within a week of the request. It refuses oil classed as hazardous, and the oil it recycles must have a flashpoint of 100 to 150 degrees. Recycled fuel oil goes to asphalt companies, hot plants, refiners, and shops that heat with burner fuel.
