Snyder's Auto Body & Paint

1526 E. Washington

712-542-5316

Frank Snyder opened Snyder's Auto Body in Clarinda in the fall of 1973 with one employee and two bays. A wrecker bought in 1976 added towing, and the abandoned vehicles filling the impound lot led to a used parts business. His son Tom joined full time in 1980, and the family business now employs nine. Collision repair, custom paint and color matching, frame alignment, auto glass replacement, and insurance estimates and claims fill the body shop side. The used parts inventory covers older vehicles, and the shop sources new parts through its network when a recycled one is not in stock.
