Boston Building Resources, at 100 Terrace Street, pairs that deconstruction work with a nonprofit reuse store. A coordinator walks the project and writes a recovery plan that covers scope and cost. Materials named for recovery include cabinetry, appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting, millwork, and lumber, and the crew removes them the same day. The shop is closed Monday and Sunday. E.L. Harvey's Westborough scale accepts all non-hazardous materials from waste and recycling haulers, contractors, builders, landscapers, and the general public. Inbound and outbound scales weigh loads of trash, paper, electronics, yard waste, and construction debris, and off loads must be through the gate by 4 PM on weekdays. Westborough residents with a valid town sticker, sold only at Town Hall, bring household trash and recycling through the main gate and follow the signs to the residential area at the rear of the facility. Truck drivers use the Truck Entrance and check in at the scale house, and a low bridge in the center of town on Route 30 affects the approach.
