Auto Recyclers LLC is headquartered at its Buena Vista recycling center on Sycamore Avenue, with a second center in Winchester that handles auto-related materials and metals. Buena Vista takes the longer list: copper, brass, aluminum, lead, and wire of every type (insulated, coated, household, bare), plus lead, small-equipment, and rechargeable batteries. Auto parts include cores, alternators, transmissions, factory converters, and transfer cases, along with radiators, thermostats, small engines, computers, cardboard, fiber, and books. Complete cars, mattresses, household batteries, Styrofoam, garbage, and tires without aluminum rims are turned away. Old iron bathtubs are welcome at both locations, and the price paid for material changes daily.
