Pete Harned owns Full Circle Recycling and operates it from Four Corners, with the facility at 357 Recycle Way in Bozeman. The company picks up cardboard for businesses across Southwest Montana, including Bozeman, Belgrade, Manhattan, Three Forks, Livingston, Gardiner, Big Sky, and Helena. Cardboard makes up as much as 75 percent of the garbage at most businesses, and the pickup service targets that share. Bale pickup sends trained staff to a loading dock or to bales on the ground, on a schedule set for each account. Bin service uses 3, 5, or 8 yard containers. A driver delivers the bin, the business fills it, and the crew empties it. Pickup frequency changes when volume changes. The Recycle Way facility is closed to the public unless an appointment is set. Hours run Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Municipal drop-off sites and transfer stations usually take flattened boxes free. For large commercial volumes, a recycler may provide a baler or container and sometimes pays for clean bales.
Flatten boxes and remove packing foam and plastic. Normal tape and labels are fine, and a little grease on a pizza box is accepted by most programs. Wet or soaked cardboard is not.
Only in bulk. Baled, clean corrugated cardboard is a commodity, but household quantities are not worth paying for.
