Frank Hernandez (1/5 stars, in the last week): Updated 4-14-25: lmfao.....shows how much you are involved with the running of the store! I DID NOT BUY THE MICROWAVE JACKASS!!! it was a matter of principle. You don't go and agree on a price and then turn around and change it! Take some accountability. It's not the employees fault that was in training. How about you have someone training him instead of allowing him to work unaccompanied and or unsupervised!!! Your ignorance and lack of management skills are evident in your response and the running of second chance. it's been a while since I've been to second chance. I decided to check it out today on 4-5-25. I figured I'd go look for a microwave and a few other household items I've been hunting for a while. They had quite a few to choose from but the prices were outrageously overpriced. $250!! For a stainless steel microwave. I was lucky to find a little older stainless steel microwave that needed some TLC. It was someone what greasy with blemishes and a small break to the top plastic venting strip. Speaking to the employee I asked how much this particular microwave was and he agreed to $25. I brought the microwave up to the counter and stepped outside to make room in the back seat of my car. When I returned to pay for the microwave another employee was scolding the employee who helped me telling him he wasn't selling that microwave for $25 and that it was worth $60! I interrupted and asked stated so you guys agree to a price with a customer and then change the price!!? I said you guys made a deal and so now it's not $25!? The second employee said sorry bro he's training referring to the employee who helped me and then walked away. Well then maybe someone should be assisting this employee with training and not having him run the front counter. It's a shame the Nampa store closed because the employees there were great! I won't return to second chance any time soon. Hopefully someone within management gets a handle on this circus.
Destry Hall
Destry Hall (5/5 stars, in the last week): I always have a great experience when I come into the store it is not as close to my house as similar stores but the staff is friendly and helpful everytime I go so I don’t mind the extra drive time. The manager Doug has helped me with my last few home projects and he has been incredibly knowledgeable as far as what would work best for me and making recommendations when I’m not sure exactly what I need. I have redone my kitchen counters backsplash and floor. The staff was able to help me find exactly what I needed to get the whole project done without multiple trips. I come here for all of my home projects now and there is a great variety of products.

Christopher Daniels (1/5 stars, 2 months ago): Absolutely did not the gentleman that was running the store about 5:00 on Saturday February 8th 2025 we were talking about a keypadded door lock and we let him know that they were overcharging for that same lock as we were able to find them for less than half the price elsewhere he mentioned that he had some paper that justified his price and we said that was fine as we were leaving he chased me down just to try to show me the paperwork to justify his pricing he got upset when I asked if you really stopped me just to try to prove his point and as we left the store he was taking pictures of my truck very unprofessional did not appreciate it and if that's the owner I would be very cautious shopping here in the future. If that was an employee then customer service training is very much needed
